What is Reiki and How Does it Work?

If you're familiar with acupuncture it’s very similar to that and based on some of the same principals, only without the needles.  Your body has specific energy points called chakras. When these chakras are blocked, it can cause pain, disease, anxiety, depression among many other maladies .  When they are open, the energy of your body flows easily and you are able to self-heal and this is what Reiki does.  It has been scientifically studied and documented that the bio-magnetic field of an energy practitioners hands is at least 1000 times greater than normal. It’s also been discovered that the energy pulses that are emitted from the hands of energy practitioners are at frequencies of anywhere from 7 to 30 hertz while drawing from the universal energy field and channeling this energy into the recipient. It’s interesting that many medical equipment therapies use these very same frequencies.

As a Reiki and Karuna Reiki Master, I have been trained and attuned to act as a channel for healing energy that removes these energy blocks allowing the body to self-heal.   Similar to a radio that has been tuned to receive radio signals and then transmits music or sound to you. I instead transmit healing energy to you.
